We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser /Trainee Technician to join our Pharmacy team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting pharmacy operations, ensuring accurate medication dispensing, and providing excellent patient care. Responsibilities

Accurately dispense prescribed medications in accordance with pharmacy protocols and legal requirements Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and distribution Maintain precise records of dispensed medications and patient information Provide guidance and support to patients regarding medication usage and potential side effects Ensure the pharmacy workspace remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards Manage stock levels, including ordering and stock rotation to prevent expiry of medicines Support medication administration processes where required, ensuring accuracy and safety Uphold confidentiality of patient information at all times

Experience

Previous experience as a pharmacy Dispenser/Technician or in a similar role is highly desirable Knowledge of medication dispensing procedures and pharmacy software systems is advantageous Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Commitment to ongoing professional development within pharmacy practice
