We are seeking a dedicated Technician to join our team, responsible for providing exceptional patient care and supporting medication administration processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare, particularly as a Pharmacy Technician, and demonstrate a commitment to maintaining high standards of service and safety.
Duties
:
Assist the pharmacist in the safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions
Prepare, assemble, label, and check medicines under supervision
Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
Manage stock, including ordering, receiving, storing, and rotating medicines
Maintain accurate records in line with pharmacy procedures and legal requirements
Support the pharmacy team in day-to-day operational duties
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain confidentiality at all times
Participate in audits, accuracy checks (under supervision), and quality improvement activities
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Requirements:
Enrol in and
successfully complete an approved Pharmacy Technician training programme
recognised by the
General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
Meet all academic, workplace, and performance requirements of the training programme
Maintain trainee registration (if applicable) and progress towards
full registration with the GPhC
Achieve
GPhC registration as a Pharmacy Technician during employment
Engage in continuous learning and professional development
