Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team at Hurn Chemist as a

Pre-Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician

. This is an exciting opportunity to begin a rewarding career in pharmacy, gaining hands-on experience while completing recognised training to become a qualified Pharmacy Technician.

You will work alongside pharmacists and pharmacy staff to support the safe and effective delivery of pharmacy services, while completing the required academic and workplace-based training programme.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the dispensing and supply of medicines Support stock management, ordering, and replenishment Provide excellent customer and patient care Work within legal and ethical guidelines of the pharmacy profession Maintain accurate records and documentation Support pharmacists and pharmacy staff in daily operations Engage in study, assessments and portfolio work required for qualification

About You

Essential:

5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English, Maths, and Science (Grade C/4 or above) Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures Motivated, reliable, and eager to learn Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Desired:

Previous experience in healthcare or retail Interest in developing a long-term pharmacy career

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Work Location: In person

You will need to work for the company for at least 2 years once you have completed the Technician course.
