Job Description

PafBag Ltd is a dynamic, expanding business making Industrial Lifting Products for commercial companies all over the world.

Due to expansion we are looking for an enthusiastic team player to join the production crew at our centrally located factory to prepare and fashion materials ready for assembly.

This will include measuring, cutting, bending, gluing, welding and assembling plastic parts, and preparing PVC material parts for our high quality products.

You must have experience of using hand and power tools and whilst fabrication or manufacturing experience would be welcome, we will provide extensive training for the successful candidate.

You will be trained to operate a CNC cutting table, hot air welding and hot bending equipment and safely use a variety of cutting and shaping tools. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a level of skill in some of these areas, together with a commitment and enthusiasm to learning more. Production targets will be acheived and full support given.

What we require

An ability to use rulers and tape measures to mark out accurately Use a computer, knowledge of Microsoft software is an advantage Use hand tools safely, for example, cutters, hot knives, saws, hammers, shapers and scrapers. (Further training will be given) Understand written instructions, simple technical drawings, and kit lists Professional attitude to achieving production targets required Ability to listen, take instruction and display improvement willingness to positively support other production crew members in this dynamic production environment.
