This is a trainee plumbing tutor/assessor post for a qualified and experienced plumber.


No teaching experience is required for this post and full teacher/assessor training and support is provided.


Are you a fully qualified and time served plumber? Could you be interested in a plumbing teaching/assessing position? I am currently working with a client based in Northampton that is looking for a Plumbing Tutor/Assessor to teach and assess apprentices the full course/up to level 3 in industry setting, workshop and classroom environments.


My client is willing to take on a qualified plumber with industry experience and support them with teacher training. My client is a successful and well established provider specialising in building services training and boasting excellent facilities.


Curriculum, facilities and lesson planning is provided. You will be using your knowledge and experience to present and demonstrate topics and will be encouraged to share your industry experiences to give real world industry context.

38,000 - 44,000 Salary

Essential experience and qualifications:-

You must be a fully Qualified Plumber with a level 3 qualification.

A minimum of 5 years working in industry.

A keen interest to work in education.

Full Time Hours Monday to Friday.


Permanent Contract.


Teaching apprentice learners the full course/up to level 3 in both workshop and classroom environments in Northampton.

Assessing Apprentice learners at various sites across Northamptonshire.

Supporting Apprentices with building their NVQ Portfolio.

Assessing Apprentices Evidence of Work in the workplace.
