Long Clawson Dairy (Clawson Farms)



Based: Long Clawson (LE14 4PJ) and Bottesford (NG13 0EL)



Salary: Up to 25,000 per annum Dependant on Experience + Great Benefits



Hours: Full Time - 37.5 hours per week

We are now seeking a Trainee Process Development Technologist, to join the Clawson family based at both of our sites in Long Clawson and Bottesford.

It is essential that you have a valid full UK driving licence so you can move between our sites.



This is an entry level role and would suit someone with a willingness to learn new skills who might be looking for their first step into a fast-paced food manufacturing industry.

What you'll do



Operating across our two sites, you will support the Process Development Technologist in progressing new product lines from approval through to launch. Your tasks will include liaising with ingredient suppliers and assisting with the organisation and documentation of factory production trials. You will also be responsible for coordinating and conducting weekly organoleptic assessments and taste panels, as well as arranging and dispatching product samples to customers. In addition, you will support general day-to-day administrative duties.

Consult and collaborate. Assisting the Process Development Technologist in the completion of organoleptic shelf-life trials and ensuring any associated documents are kept up to date. Deputising for the Process Development Technologist as and when required.

Integrity



Champion facts and data. Attending factory trials and completing relevant documents, including trial reports detailing successes and improvement recommendations.

What are we looking for?



A highly motivated & passionate individual looking to take their first step into the food manufacturing industry. An interest in the food industry and associated market trends. A willingness to adapt and enthusiasm to learn new skills. A keen eye for detail, ensuring documentation is completed correctly ensuring traceability is maintained. A good problem solver - able to think on their feet and find solutions to problems. A good communicator, collaborating well with all teams. Looking to work for a company who will invest in your future development. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and Outlook).

UK driving licence & unlimited right to work in the UK required.
