Job Overview:

At Harleston dental and aesthetic clinic we are seeking a full time, GDC registered, qualified dental nurse, or a knowledgeable trainee about to qualify, to join our friendly expanding team.

We are a mixed private/NHS practice, but predominantly private.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our team. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist during patient procedures and providing exceptional patient care. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to work well in a team environment will contribute to the success of our dental practice.

Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring the patient's comfort and safety
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Provide chairside assistance for various dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, and cleanings
- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and order as needed

Qualifications:
- Valid Dental Nursing qualification or certification
- Proven experience working as a Dental Nurse
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Proficient computer skills for maintaining patient records
