The Trainee Quality Assurance Compliance Officer plays a crucial role in advancing the NACFB's mission of maintaining a robust support function. This position will evolve into a Quality Assurance Compliance Officer role which involves actively supporting and monitoring NACFB Members, conducting Assurance reviews and calls. Importantly, upholding the professional standing of the association.
The role will also require the holder to support the wider NACFB compliance agenda.
Full training will be given in regulatory compliance and Quality Assurance.
Key Responsibilities
Up-to-Date Assurance Requirements:
Ensure Member firms are compliant with Assurance requirements and assist in the implementation of any necessary changes.
Assurance Reviews:
Complete assurance reviews for new and existing members, demonstrating a hands-on approach to compliance assessments

Compliance Line Handling:
Answer calls on the compliance line via the Bia App, providing direct support to members in navigating compliance inquiries.
Promotion of Professional Standards:
Support the growth and sustainability of Membership and Patronage through the promotion of professional standards.
Training and Development:
Contributing to a culture of training and development through educational initiatives.
Contribution to Compliance Team:
Actively contributing to the compliance team by supporting colleagues on various tasks.
Aligned Objectives:
Gain a deep understanding of member requirements concerning both compliance and Membership support.
Audit brokers against required regulatory and NACFB standards.
Determine and implement appropriate remedial actions to consistently elevate compliance and professional standards.
Effectively support the company's requirements for the delivery of the compliance operation and its continuous future development.

Desirable Experience:
Previously worked within a Commercial brokerage
Previous exposure to Commercial Finance
Previously worked within a regulatory environment
The role may be varied from time to time and within reason the post holder must be prepared to perform other duties outside of the scope of this role.
This role is predominantly working from home with 1/3 visits to the office a year.
