Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a desire to build their knowledge of construction and provide support to our Quantity Surveyor.
Duties
Making enquiry phone calls to potential clients responding to E-mails and working with suppliers and sub-contractors General management of a live project (supported by QS) Carrying out measurements for Roofing, Plastering, Fencing, Masonry and other aspects of building Assessing applications for payment Carrying out site visits to live projects
Requirements & Skills
A positive attitude to learning and self development. Confidence and a professional manner Candidate must have completed a National Diploma in Construction Management or similar (or be in the process of this) Good literary and mathematical skills A reasonable knowledge of Microsoft programmes: Excel, Work Ect. A driving License is preferred but not required. A ken eye for detail and a cautious approach to work; providing detailed work that is clear and highlights any missing information or questions that need to be answered.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.44-15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
