Regular overtime of 1.5x pay after 8 hours and 2.0x pay on Saturdays and Sundays. We pay a minimum of 10 hours on days where an overnight stay is required allowing you the potential to increase your income by approximately 50%. About the position

You will receive training to use a wide variety of plant and equipment; including high-capacity forklift trucks, pick and carry cranes and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) along with a wide variety of other lifting equipment.

The position is hands-on and will involve lifting and manoeuvring heavy items in the safest way possible, therefore requiring a good level of physical fitness.

You will be required to work in all weather conditions and travel with your team throughout the country. Depending on the individual job location there will be overnight stays and occasional weekends working as required, offering regular overtime opportunities.

Responsibilities

Working as part of a close-knit team to provide assistance in the installation, removal and relocation of heavy and specialist equipment, ranging from precision machine tools to robust distillery holding tanks Working in a variety of industrial and commercial customer environments, on a variety of jobs from straightforward installations to complex machinery relocations. Travelling and working across the UK and Europe to remove, pack, load and transport both old and new equipment. Operating in the safest, most efficient and reliable way possible for our customers. Working to the highest safety standards, complying with safe work systems and standard procedures, and maintaining a high level of housekeeping throughout any work area.

Requirements

Full UK Driving Licence with less than six penalty points is essential. The position is hands-on and will involve lifting and manoeuvring heavy items therefore requiring a good level of physical fitness. Fluent in English with good customer-facing and communication skills. Based a commutable distance to our yard in Leeds.
We will provide both internal and external training to ensure you are well equipped to carry out your role in the safest way possible.
