Work will be on various new house building sites within an approx 25 mile radius of Bridgwater
The ideal candidate will be given experience in roofing systems and will need to be adept at working with various materials. This role involves installing roofs to ensure they are watertight and structurally sound. The Trainee Roofer will work closely with other tradespeople and must be comfortable working at heights.
Duties
Install roofing systems using a variety of materials such as roof tiles and slates
Interpret and work from schematics to ensure accurate installation.
Fabricate roofing components as needed to fit specific designs or repairs.
Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in the execution of roofing tasks.
Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of roofing with other building elements.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly.
Follow safety protocols to minimise risks associated with working at heights.
