Overview

We are looking for well motivated people to join our team. As a Trainee you will have the opportunity to learn various roofing disciplines with the chance to progress towards becoming a fully qualified Roofing Operative.

You will need to be dependable, keen to learn new skills and be able take instruction. You will also need to be willing to work at height and in poor weather conditions.

All training will be provided.

Duties

To learn how to operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment safely and effectively. Assist with construction tasks such as framing, roofing, masonry, and carpentry work. Conduct fabrication activities including cutting and assembly of materials. Perform heavy lifting and manual labour required for building or repair projects. Maintain a clean and organised worksite to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met while adhering to safety regulations.

Qualifications

Previous experience or training in construction-related trades such as carpentry, roofing, masonry would be an advantage but not essential. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely is required. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently throughout the workday. Willing to gain understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites and fabrication environments. Good organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A full uk driving licence would be an advantage.

Pay: 70.00-105.00 per day
