AC Leigh is a well-established provider of security and access solutions, serving both commercial and domestic clients. We install and maintain a wide range of systems, including CCTV, access control, intruder and fire alarms, as well as automatic gates, doors, and barriers.

We're looking for a motivated

Trainee Security Service Engineer

to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who's hands-on, eager to learn, and looking for a long-term career in a growing industry.

Role Responsibilities

As a trainee engineer, you'll be trained and supported by experienced professionals to help you develop the skills needed to:

Install, service, and maintain: Access control CCTV systems Automatic gates, doors, and barriers Assist in troubleshooting and diagnostics Work on a variety of commercial sites Read technical drawings and documentation Maintain health & safety and quality standards on-site Provide excellent customer service

Requirements

Essential:

Interest in technical, electrical, or mechanical systems Willingness to learn and follow instructions Good communication and problem-solving skills Basic tool knowledge Full UK driving licence Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

Engineering or technical qualifications (e.g., BTEC, City & Guilds) Previous hands-on experience with tools or electronics
