About the role

As a

Trainee Service Advisor/Driver

working with Advance Vauxhall, you will be providing assistance to the Service department and promote a positive company image at all times. Your main tasks at the start will be to assist in the driving and where the Service team require assistance. However, we will also start training you to become a Service Advisor once your tasks for the day have been completed.

Ideal candidates

will have a passion for the automotive industry and are looking to progress within the company to roles such as Service Advisor/ Parts Advisor.

The Trainee Service Advisor Role:

To complete collections and deliveries across multiple sites throughout the day. To assist the team in car transfers between site. To help test drive vehicles once a fault has been resolved in the car to ensure there are no further issues.To meet & greet your Vauxhall customers, & clarify their Service, MOT and/or repair requirements. To manage your customers effectively throughout the day, maintaining regular contact and offer excellent, personalised levels of service and being able to help communicate technical issues in an appropriate way for the customer to understand. To be experienced in up-selling VHC, Vauxhall products & Service Plans, objection handling and record sales activity To raise invoices for work done & meet the customers' time deadlines for collection of their vehicles.

What We Are Looking For in a Trainee Service Advisor/Driver:

You will have relevant experience in a customer-facing role Automotive industry is not required, but desirable Basic mechanical awareness or understanding of cars and parts Excellent communication skills Team player with a flexible attitude; is willing to ensure customer satisfaction

Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence - with minimal points
