Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and develop their engineering skills in a supportive environment. As a Trainee Service Engineer, you will work closely with experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience repairing and maintaining cleaning equipment for public use.

Duties will also include manning and helping customers at our showroom aswell as call handling incoming customer calls. All training on products and repairs will be provided as well as training at the Karcher Academy as experience grows.

Duties

Fault Find, Diagnose and Repair Domestic Cleaning equipment within our dedicated domestic work shop (tools are provided) Service cleaning equipment where required Complete customer invoices for payment Handle incoming calls from customers Make calls to customers to communicate key updates as their repairs proceed Key role within the team also includes manning of the showroom and shop, helping customers that visit to discuss equipment requirements

Experience

Servicing and Repairs to Cleaning equipment would be preferred but not expected (all training will be supplied) Some mechanical knowledge would be preferred (in house training will be completed) Some basic electrical knowledge would be preferred (in house training Would be completed) Use of basic PC skills Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. A willingness to learn and develop understanding of cleaning equipment and technologies.

Clean Driving License is preferred for insurance purposes (age restrictions do apply)

Salary is based on age, experience and knowledge

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 22,880.00 per year
