Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the fabrication, cutting, bending, and forming of sheet metal components
Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery under supervision
Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
Measure and mark materials accurately
Assist in assembling and finishing sheet metal products
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures
Support senior team members in daily workshop tasks and project setups
Requirements:
A genuine interest in manufacturing, engineering, or metalwork
Willingness to learn and develop practical skills
Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
Ability to work well as part of a team
Basic math and measurement skills
Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
Punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious
Desirable (but not essential):
GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths, English, or Design & Technology
Previous workshop, construction, or mechanical experience
Forklift or machinery certifications (if applicable)
experience in using camduct, laser, spiral duct machine, gorlocker.
