The company operates across two sites in Stevenage with 32 employees. ULO Optics Ltd recently integrated LBP Optics Limited into its operation enhancing its product offering and streamlining the Customer journey in order to meet increased demand.

The Role

We are offering the opportunity to train as a single point diamond turning engineer within a small team at our Wedgwood Court site in Stevenage. The role will focus on SPDT mirror engineering to support rapid business growth. You will be fully trained as an operative in all aspects of machine handling and safety.

You will be required to work alongside our engineers to set-up SPDT machines in line with technical drawing specifications. You will gain skills in machine maintenance and product inspection.

Some written process reporting may be required.

Responsibilities

Keep work areas clean and tidy. Be aware of and ensure you are meeting your responsibilities in accordance with company procedures, health and safety regulations, and the Staff Handbook. Understand the need for confidentiality when dealing with both internal and external information. Flexibility to travel across the two sites in Stevenage. Flexibility to work outside or in excess of standard hours when necessary to achieve objectives required. Sound knowledge of the company's service offering specific to role.
