Job Overview

We are seeking a Trainee SMT Operator to join our dynamic SMT team. You will be reporting to the SMT Supervisor and your main role will be to keep the surface mount machines running efficiently in line with the daily schedule. The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual with a keen interest in electronics manufacturing and a strong desire to learn and grow within the industry. The ideal candidate will be detail-orientated, reliable, and eager to develop new technical skills in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

To work towards the SMT department working practices. Operate SMT paste printers, and SMT reflow ovens. To check and load components. To conduct visual inspections to ensure good quality product. To hand-fit components when required. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions. Organisational skills. Multi-tasking capability.
