Cox Landscapes has developed an effective Trainee program and are looking for the next selection of trainees. Within our trainee Soft Landscaper role, candidates will learn to read scaled drawings, plant shrubs, lay turf, plant trees, Seeding, Landscape Maintenance and much more. The work carried out is predominantly on new build construction sites.

We are looking for enthusiastic and hard working candidates who would like to build a career in the construction industry. Candidates must be willing to work long hours in all conditions.

This is a fast track training opportunity that will give the selected candidate the head start into their long term soft landscaping Career. Candidates will be given all necessary training and certificates to be able to carry out the job role safely and effectively. Training will include:

- Fast fit Testing

- Manual Handling

- Cat scan and Generator

-NVQ in Horticulture

-PA1 and PA6 Spraying qualification

- First Aid

Opportunity to complete a NVQ in Horticulture, whilst being employed full time.

The working hours are from 7am to 17:00pm Monday to Friday which include an unpaid morning break between 10am to 10:30am and an unpaid lunch break between 13:00 and 13:30.

Holiday entitlement is 20 day per annum plus 8 paid bank holidays calculated at a rate of one twelfth per month.
