Swim Academy teachers teach our primary school-aged children to swim beautifully and love swimming for life.

Puddle Ducks Swim Academy is for children aged from 4 to 10 years old and is the natural progression from our Baby & Pre-school classes although direct entrants are also accepted.

We teach a natural and smooth swimming style, starting with simple skills that we build gradually along with each child's physical ability and confidence. These are balanced with fun activities that develop various skills, such as life-saving, floating and surface-diving.

Our swimming teachers come from all walks of life and are bound together with a complete love of their job and shared experiences. It's a fabulous job that still gives you plenty of valuable time to spend with your family. Good swim schools provide excellent training, which usually consists of an intensive course followed by on-the-job training and our teachers are the most highly trained in the industry - and the rewards are amazing! Watching children progress from nervous first starters to confident swimmers is truly a privilege.

You will work Monday evenings & Saturday mornings in Chichester. Further opportunities also exist to cross train and teach our award winning Baby & Pre-school classes too!

Basic qualifications will need to be achieved with our help and support:

STA Level 2 Award which is usually a 4 or 5 day course and

STA Safety Award for Teacher which is a 1 day course.
