We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our special educational team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of children, particularly those with special educational needs SEN/ SEND. This position involves working closely with teachers to create an inclusive and engaging environment that fosters growth and learning for all students, including those with learning and physical needs.

Responsibilities



Assist the lead teacher in delivering educational activities and lessons tailored to the needs of each child. Provide care and support for pupils, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day. Communicate effectively with children to encourage their participation and engagement in classroom activities. Foster a positive learning environment by promoting social skills and emotional development among students. Help maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating classroom setting conducive to learning. Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to assess student progress and adapt teaching methods as necessary.

Salary for a

Grade 1 Teaching Assistant

is 18,865 actual annual salary working 33 hours per week Mon-Fri term time 38 weeks per annum + 5 inset days + amazing benefits working for our Wellspring trust

This is a full time role working Mon-Fri TERM TIME only 8.50am-3.45pm (every Wednesday till 4.45pm)
