The job:

We are currently looking to recruit an internal sales advisor at our office and warehouse in Farlington, Portsmouth. We fully appreciate the best work is done by people who enjoy their job. We want all our employees to experience excellent job satisfaction as a result of a work ethic that is centred on customer's satisfaction.

We are searching for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our experienced technical sales team. Whilst previous experience in sales and/or interests in fish or pond keeping are desirable, full product training will be provided in-house.

Roles & Responsibilities - Internal Sales Advisor

Provision of exceptional customer service to Water Garden customers Providing technical advice and guidance on products to customers in person and via phone, email and live chat. Specifying equipment for lakes, ponds and water features, generating quotations and raising ProForma Invoices Processing orders, payments and associated transactional paperwork Generating labels and arranging appropriate despatch. Liaising with couriers and customers when delivery issues arise. Being a proactive member of the sales team: taking telephone sales calls, greeting customers and offering assistance, managing customer returns, communicating care and maintenance instructions for customer purchases.

Additional Support Roles:

Warranty fault-finding & repair/replacement

Supplier procurement

Prototype & concept design

Blog & Social Media content writing & publication

Product content writing & SEO

Product sales analysis

Competitor analysis and copyright infringement monitoring

Pallet packing and despatch

Picking & Packing (if warehouse support needed)

About you:

Self-motivated, Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise

Excellent verbal, telephone, written & email communication skills

A creative, problem-solving, team player

Passion for providing best customer service and building lasting customer relationships

Technically and mechanically adept

Proficient in email / Excel / Word / Office

Good acquired knowledge of website & products (in-house training provided)

Core understanding of SEO (in-house training provided)

CAD and/or technical drawing skills useful

UK driving licence useful but not essential

GCSE Maths and English preferred.

Our Benefits Package:

Salary: 25,400 - 31,200/annum (depending on experience)

Working Hours: 09:00am - 17:00pm Mon-Fri
