Are you an experienced Residential Childcare worker, looking to advance your career to become a staff trainer in this sector?
As the Trainee Training Assistant, your job is to assist to equip staff with the knowledge, methodology and practical skills, to carry out their work activities effectively, whilst remaining compliant.
You will train with our Company trainer to gain the knowledge to conduct training programs to enhance the skills and competencies of employees, assess any training needs, communicate with managers to identify any specific training needs for their teams, and deliver these to improve workplace procedures in an ever-changing sector.

Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and ethics, working cooperatively with home managers, head office staff, and looked after children.
Skills/Experience needed;
A full UK driving licence and unrestricted access to a vehicle is an essential requirement for this role.
Attend workshops and professional development courses when required.
Computer literate with the ability to use Word, Excel, e-mail, Power-Point.
Residential Childcare experience/background, with an understanding of the life of a children's support workers daily challenges.
Duties to Include;
Organisation of induction days
Deliver induction training and mandatory refresher training
Training delivered from head office, homes and other venues when required
Provide consistently high-quality training at all times in line with national legislation
Work independently using own initiative as well as the ability to work as a team
Co-ordinate and develop on-boarding training for new employees
Ensure all relevant administration and IT system information is completed and processed as required
Maintain effective and accurate filing systems.
Ensure effective course evaluation and feedback is monitored, communicated and acted on where appropriate.
Assist the in writing new training material incorporating any new up to date legislation.
Producing documents, briefing papers, and reports when required
Excellent time management with effective verbal and written communication skills.
Conduct training needs analysis.
Utilising new innovative and creating methods of delivering training
Deliver regulatory training in accordance with business strategy
Complete other duties at the discretion of the line manager.
