We have a vacancy for a Trainee Veterinary Nurse to join our team. The ideal applicant would be hard working, passionate and will already have experience of working within the animal care industry and hold relevant qualifications. In house training will be provided.
This position may lead to a Student Veterinary Nurse position in the future, so GCSE's in English, Maths and Science Grade C or above (4-9) are required. Travel between branches is required so a driving licence and own vehicle is desirable.
This is not a role for an apprenticeship or someone already enrolled in college on a Veterinary Nursing course
The role is varied and includes assisting with inpatient care - walking, feeding, and providing TLC. Reception duties and assisting the veterinary surgeon during consults, cleaning and helping with theatre tasks. Shifts will include unsociable hours, night shifts, weekends and Bank Holidays. Qualifications in Customer Service or First Aid an advantage.
This role is full time role, however part-time candidates will be considered.
