The trainee service engineer role provides opportunity for a motivated individual wishing to take the first step on their career path to join our team of experts and industry leaders.
This role provides a diverse and stimulating opportunity for training in site-based work; including pre-planned water maintenance, plant and equipment servicing and installation, plant and pipework disinfection, analytical sampling and closed system testing and maintenance across a variety of sectors including; NHS, Health and Social Care, Universities and the Hospitality industry.
The trainee service engineer role is integral to supporting clients by delivering services from within our high quality and innovative product set. The successful candidate will work within the experienced Service Operative Team, reporting progress to Project Managers who have a strong technical understanding of our products, services, and legislative regulations and guidelines.
Managed by our approachable Operations Team, Aqua Protec uses pioneering Mobile Workforce Management software to plan and manage the daily schedule of Service Operatives within the team, utilising tablet PCs for dispatch, navigation, recording work completed on-site, managing timesheets and expenses and communication.
Through the Company's Skills Development Programme, the successful candidate will be trained and mentored in key areas as required, ensuring thorough support in developing; understanding of the Company including its values and policies, software and practical understanding and experience of the services being completed.

Person Specification - Qualifications and Experience
Essential
Full UK driving licence
English and Maths GCSE or equivalent
Knowledge of industry relevant legislation and guidelines; including but not limited to, ACoP L8, HSG274, HTM04-01, Water Regulations.
Desirable
City and Guilds or equivalent in a relevant field
