Haldane (UK) Ltd are looking to recruit a Trainee Wood Machinist.

Haldane (UK) Ltd are a Bespoke Architectural Joinery company, based in Glenrothes. We work on many prestigious projects throughout the UK. Additional training will be given however the successful candidate must be capable of the following:
Requirements:
Experience within a similar role or worked in a factory production environment operating production machinery is essential Strong Health & Safety awareness Be able to work from cutting lists unsupervised Follow instructions to competently set up and operate wood machinery i.e. Spindle Moulder, Surface Planer, Thicknesser, Table saw, Re-saw, X-cutter, Square dresser Have a good understanding of tooling Keeping work areas clean and tidy Good hand skills and an eye for detail
Desirable but not essential:
Basic machine maintenance Be familiar with timber types Driving license Combilift forklift licence
You will be required to:
Work to deadlines and under pressure Operate machinery in a safe manner Work both on your own and as part of a team Provide a quality finished product * Be organised and methodical
