Duties

Assisting dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including preparing instruments and materials Ensuring patient comfort and providing reassurance throughout treatments Maintaining strict infection control protocols and sterilising equipment Managing patient records accurately using IT systems Providing post-treatment advice and instructions to patients Supporting administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and patient correspondence Ensuring the clinical environment is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards Handling patient enquiries professionally both face-to-face and via telephone or email

Experience

Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and professionalism Good command of English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with patients and team members Basic IT skills for managing electronic health records and appointment systems Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with patients, dentists, and colleagues Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment

Pay: 12.21-12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 41 per week
