Job responsibilities
Acorns Children's Hospice Trust are looking for Clinical Governance, Quality and Practice Education Administrator to provide a high quality administrative support.
About the Role
Acorns provides care for babies, children and young people, who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. Our Healthcare Assistants are part of a supportive, multi-disciplinary team delivering care packages that are tailored to each childs individual holistic needs and were structured so that youll simply have the time to care.
Each hospice is purpose-built with individually decorated rooms overlooking our gardens. We try to make it as welcoming and friendly as possible a homely environment for the children, young people and their families.
As a Training Administrator, you will:

  • Coordinate learning and development schedules, including inductions, mandatory training, and clinical education events, ensuring the learning journey of staff is tracked, monitored and supported
  • Support the implementation and tracking of clinical governance activities including audits, policy reviews, incident reporting, and risk management tasks
  • Collaborate with the Lead Practice Educator and Senior Care Leadership Team to build and revise learning pathways that reflect current standards, role requirements and individual development needs
  • Liaise with internal and external trainers, guest speakers, and partner organisations to support the effective delivery of learning and governance sessions.
  • Act as the first point of contact for clinical education and governance queries, triaging messages from the Academy support inbox and directing issues appropriately
About You
  • Previous Admin experience
  • Experience of working with learning management systems
  • IT Literate
