We are looking for a motivated and organised Training and Development Coordinator to join our team. This role is central to expanding our training offer, coordinating courses, and building strong relationships with learners, trainers, and corporate partners. You will play a key role in helping us recruit students, manage training logistics, and ensure that our programmes are impactful, professional, and inclusive.
Responsibilities
Recruitment of Learners: Actively promote Roots for Change UK's training opportunities to the public, community partners, and potential participants.
Course Coordination: Plan, organise, and oversee the delivery of courses, workshops, and training sessions, ensuring smooth operations and a positive learning environment.
Corporate Engagement: Attend meetings with corporate partners, employers, and stakeholders to build partnerships and identify opportunities for collaboration.
Administration & Organisation: Manage schedules, training materials, and participant records; ensure compliance with organisational policies and funding requirements.
Student Support: Provide information and guidance to students before, during, and after courses to maximise engagement and successful outcomes.
Monitoring & Evaluation: Collect feedback, track attendance, and support reporting requirements to demonstrate the impact of our training programmes.
Experience
Qualifications
- Degree in a related field: A degree in Training, Education, Human Resources, or a related field is beneficial.
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training (RQF): This qualification, also known as PTLLS, is highly regarded for training roles.
- Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA): This qualification is designed for assessors and can be beneficial for Training Coordinators.
Certifications
- Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP): A professional certification offered by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET).
- Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP): A certification program offered by the Association for Talent Development (ATD).
- Certified Training Manager (CTM): A professional certification program offered by the International Board of Certified Trainers (IBCT) .
Experience
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in training: Experience in coordinating and delivering training programs is essential.
- Experience in content development and training delivery: Proven experience in creating training materials and delivering training sessions.
- Knowledge of learning management systems: Familiarity with software used to manage and deliver training programs.
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to work with various stakeholders, including trainers, learners, and management.
- Strong organizational and time management skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Familiarity with software such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook .
