Are you a qualified Social Worker (registered with Social Work England) who is passionate about training/teaching? We are looking for a part-time Training and Development Social Worker (25 hours per week) to join our fostering team and make a real difference by training carers, to support them in providing the best possible outcomes for the children and young people they look after.




About the Role





As a Training and Development Social Worker, you will:


Co-ordinate, deliver, and enhance the training program for our foster carers. Ensure training content is up-to-date with current legislation, guidance, and best practices. Deliver training through a mix of face-to-face and virtual sessions. Support carers in navigating the necessary systems to enhance their learning and development. Collaborate closely with the other Training Development Social Worker and external trainers. Working in partnership with other services and agencies to deliver a high-quality training programme.



About You





To succeed in this role, you must:


Hold a Social Work qualification and be registered with Social Work England. Have significant experience in social work, ideally in fostering services. Be experienced in delivering training or have a passion for contributing to the development of others. Be an effective communicator, highly organised, and able to work collaboratively.

Candidates will require a social work degree and SWE registration.





If appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
