Help get better trained personnel to the front line faster

Project Selborne is a Transformational Training programme with a strategic goal of modernising Royal Navy training to deliver \xe2\x80\x9cbetter trained sailors to the front line faster\xe2\x80\x9d.

You will support the day-to-day running of the Training Unit and support the team and students using those facilities for a Safe Training Delivery Output

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing:

  • Supporting the Training Delivery Instructors
  • Briefing, monitoring and debriefing trainees at entry and exit of training
  • Supervising Trainees whilst undertaking training Instruction, utilising appropriate safety related equipment.
  • Ensuring that the maintenance of all relevant Training Equipment is carried out to enable equipment performance standards to be met and the training programme maintained
  • Undertake the role of a Safety Swimmer at Sea Survival, the role of a Casualty in First Aid Training, the role of a Damage Repair Safety Person, as and when required
What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:
  • Experience with the Royal Navy, would be an advantage
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Ability to work within a team and independently
  • Good IT skills
  • Ability to obtain UK SC Clearance
About Project Selborne:

Project Selborne is a \xc2\xa31 billion, 12-year contract which commenced operations on 1 April 2021. It is a strategic partnership between Team Fisher (a consortium of partners, led by Capita) and the Royal Navy, to transform 80% of shore-based training for sailors, submariners and marines.
