This is a 12-month fixed term contract, field based role.
As a Training and Competence Manager you will ensure the effective delivery of Training and Competence (T&C) quality and risk oversight with a team of Supervision experts to Openwork's Partner Firms, Advisers and practice supervisors.
You will create a high-performing, collaborative and motivated team through strong leadership, direction, performance management and engagement.
You will also ensure robust resource management and planning, budget controls, reporting mechanisms and communication channels are in place to support the effective running of the T&C team.
Additionally, you will adopt a continuous improvement approach to all things: seeking to evolve ways of working aligned to Openwork's strategic aims.
The benefits:
Salary - up to 65,000
Bonus Scheme - on target bonus - 15%

Your responsibilities will include:
Ensure the effective delivery of Supervision according to Openwork's Assurance Model and Supervision Framework
Ensure effective oversight and engagement of Practice Supervisors
Manage performance of a team to deliver Supervision with engagement, collaboration, using effective root cause analysis and remedial actions which evidence good customer outcomes being achieved and which influence positive attitudes and behaviors towards conduct, and competence
Using MI/Data to identify trends and patterns to inform priorities.
