to support our aerospace Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operations in the South East of England. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate technical and regulatory training activities, ensuring our engineers, technicians, and support staff remain fully certified, compliant, and up to date with the latest industry standards.
You'll play a central role in maintaining compliance with CAA, EASA, and Part 145 requirements, while also supporting our continuous improvement ethos and safety-first culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule mandatory and developmental training programmes for MRO personnel, including engineers, technicians, and support staff.
Ensure compliance with aviation regulatory requirements (e.g., EASA Part 145, Part 66, and UK CAA regulations) through accurate and timely training delivery.
Manage and maintain training records, certifications, and employee competency matrices via the company's LMS or digital training platform.
Work closely with Quality, Safety, and HR departments to ensure training aligns with audit readiness, safety standards, and workforce planning.
Liaise with external training providers and regulatory authorities to deliver specialized or recurring courses (e.g., Human Factors, EWIS, FTS).
Support onboarding and induction programmes for new hires, apprentices, and contractors.
Monitor training effectiveness and feedback, reporting on completion rates and identifying areas for improvement.
Stay up to date with regulatory and technological changes in aerospace MRO to adapt training needs accordingly.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a training coordination or compliance support role within an aerospace MRO environment.
Strong understanding of aviation maintenance regulations and standards, including EASA/CAA Part 145 and Part 66.
Proficient with Learning Management Systems (LMS), digital training tools, and Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple schedules and deadlines.
High attention to detail and a proactive, solution-focused approach.
Training or compliance-related qualification (e.g., CIPD, PTLLS, or similar) is advantageous.
