Trusted Assessing and Care Training (TACT) is a small, friendly training provider specialising in equipment and adaptation training for health, social care and housing professionals. Established in 2022, we deliver a market-leading range of accredited programmes supporting faster access to independent living solutions for older and disabled people. Our nationally recognised courses are delivered UK-wide using a mix of eLearning, blended and face-to-face formats.

Role Summary



The Training Coordinator will play a central role in supporting the delivery and administration of TACT's training programmes. This dynamic part-time position requires excellent organisational and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to exceptional customer service. You will support learners, commissioners, freelance trainers and internal teams to ensure our courses run smoothly and learners have a positive experience throughout their journey.

Key Responsibilities



Course and Learner Administration

Process job applications for new freelance training staff and ensure compliance with company standards. Manage learner bookings, registrations and communication through our LMS (Learning Management System) within agreed timeframes. Support learners throughout their journey -- answering enquiries, guiding LMS usage and resolving issues. Save and organise learner attendance sheets, tracking progress and updating commissioners with learner status. Sit in on and administer webinars and online sessions as required. Ensure learners are registered and prepared in advance for courses.
Booking and Logistics

Process course bookings, chase customers for outstanding bookings and update CRM records. Monitor open course booking levels and initiate action when needed to revise dates, suggest additional promotions and ensure courses run with minimum learner levels Book venues and freelance trainers for scheduled courses across the UK. Gather and update new venue information, ensuring accurate logistical arrangements. Support billing processes.
CRM and Systems Management

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM system. Conduct regular imports of learners Regularly update course details and information -- on the company website and external platforms. Work within the LMS to create and configure new courses and learning pathways.
Customer Service and Communication

Provide excellent customer service via phone and email -- professional, friendly and responsive. Handle general enquiries and support the business with telephone and email communication. Update Commissioners about learner progress and help resolve learning or booking enquiries.
Business Support and Development

Collate and report on learner requests for courses not currently scheduled or offered for future development Support business development activities including promotional mailings and events. Book, organise and administer external events, workshops and networking opportunities. Ensure stock levels of brochures, flyers and merchandise are maintained. Support ad-hoc projects and broader company initiatives as required.

Person Specification



Essential Skills and Attributes

Proven experience in an administrative or coordination role (training, education, events or customer service preferred). Exceptional customer service skills -- customer satisfaction is your top priority. Excellent computer skills, with confidence using CRM systems, spreadsheets and online platforms. Strong organisation and attention to detail -- you keep things accurate and on track. Self-motivated, reliable and able to manage your own workload within a flexible part- time schedule. Professional and friendly telephone manner. Flexible, collaborative approach and willingness to support an evolving business.
Desirable

Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and data systems. Knowledge of the health, social care or training sector.
