Job Summary


The Training Facilitator plays a pivotal role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of employees within the organisation. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and facilitating training programmes that align with the company's objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and presentation skills, along with a passion for mentoring and developing others.

Please note: Criteria for this role is that you apply for an Enhanced AccessNI certificate

To ensure NW Care Service Users receive delivery of care in accordance with company policies and procedures and in line with company Aims and Objectives. He/she is responsible for carrying out quality monitoring, health and safety risk assessments in line with legislation and company Health and Safety Policy, staff monitoring and spot checks on behalf of the company.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES


The post holder will demonstrate staff engagement and person-centred care through role modelling this approach in the delivery of training standards.

TRAINING

- To ensure the timely delivery of relevant approved/accredited training to all NWCare domiciliary care staff and office staff in order to meet organisational and legislative requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF TRAINING FACILITATOR


1.Responsible for the delivery of training as required in line with the induction standards for all new community care staff and office staff
2.Delivery of continual professional development and educational training and specific on-going training in line with identified development areas and specified contractual requirements
3.Remain informed and up to date about changes in legislation, guidance and recommendations from government and other key agencies, not limited to the Department of Health
4.Assist with on-going course design and the updating and evaluation of courses when required
5.Ensue all external and internal quality procedures, contractual and legislative standards are met
6.Ensure all training delivered is always effective and delivered to a high standard
7.To deliver, as required, bespoke and specialised training in accordance with your own skills and competencies to meet current legislative requirements and workforce development

Essential

QUALIFICATIONS/ TRAINING


QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care or above -Registered Nurse

Previous experience training in health care

REGISTRATION


Registered with the NI Social Care Council and/or registration with the Nursing Midwifery Council

KNOWLEDGE


Provides evidence of past personal and professional development
Provides evidence of knowledge of quality assurance systems and RQIA minimum standards
Competent in Microsoft Office applications
High standard of accuracy
