About Stockport County
Founded in 1883, Stockport County are one of the country's longest established football clubs. Initially formed as Heaton Norris Rovers, the Club officially became Stockport County in 1890 after the County Borough of Stockport and have been based at Edgeley Park since 1902.
The team currently competes in Sky Bet League One, the third tier of the English Football League, after winning the 2023-24 Sky Bet League Two title.
Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Training Ground Caretaker to join our Training Ground team at Carrington Road. The role would involve daily oversight of the training ground facility, to include general maintenance, cleaning, locking up, and acting as the contact person for external suppliers visiting the site, with the working pattern requiring a high degree of flexibility to follow the team training schedule.
Applicants must have access to their own transport and ideally live within a short distance from the venue.
