Salary: 58,000 - 63,000 + 15% performance bonus + a Company Car
Working location: Northstowe Training Hub
Employment type: Full time, Permanent

Job summary:
We're looking for an experienced and passionate Hub Manager to lead NHBC's Northstowe Training Hub, ensuring high-quality delivery across apprenticeships, NVQs, and professional development programmes. You'll create a thriving, compliant learning environment where future talent can grow, while driving the success and reputation of NHBC's Commercial Services. What you'll be doing:

  • Leading and motivating a team of trainers, assessors, and support staff to deliver outstanding learning experiences.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Training Hub, from planning and timetabling to ensuring a safe, efficient, and engaging environment.
  • Managing budgets, business plans, and KPIs to deliver on commercial goals and compliance standards (Ofsted, ESFA, etc.).
  • Maintaining NHBC's accreditations and ensuring quality across all apprenticeship and NVQ programmes.
  • Building strong relationships with external partners, awarding bodies, and government agencies.
  • Developing new opportunities to grow our training offer and enhance NHBC's commercial impact.
  • Coaching and developing your team to reach their potential while maintaining motivation and engagement.
What we're looking for:
  • A strong background in Learning & Development, ideally within apprenticeships or vocational training.
  • Proven experience managing teams and ensuring high performance across multiple disciplines.
  • Knowledge of Ofsted, ESFA, and funding frameworks.
  • Experience with business planning, budgeting, and achieving P&L targets.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Teaching, assessing, or quality assurance qualifications (or equivalent experience).
  • A proactive, quality-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys making a difference.
