The role
Building on our expertise across media relations, public affairs and market communications, we are growing our offer and working with some of the biggest corporates and investors around, on high-value work in M&A, complex corporate finance deals, activism and special situations.
We are seeking an enthusiastic new recruit with two to three years' experience in financial communications and wants to be part of a new, dynamic opportunity at Hanbury.
You will have a keen interest in financial transactions and private markets, understand the financial media, and have experience offering advice and developing strategy to support every stage of complex deals and transactions.
Responsibilities will include:
Manage day-to-day activity on account teams
Being a key point of contact for the client and take responsibility for allocating actions and delivery of work
Taking a leading role on drafting financial communications, developing investment narratives and supporting materials
Building and maintaining contacts within the media
Taking a leadership role with Executives, supporting their development and managing and reviewing their work on account teams
Undertaking independent research tasks and completing them to a high quality
Assisting with business development and takes on a role in pitches
Investing in the culture of the business and celebrating the successes of the team
About you:
Strong foundation in corporate communications, with a specialism in financial communications, corporate affairs, investor relations and financial results
Financial analysis skills and understanding of financial reporting
Strong media networks and a willingness to forge new relationships
Excited to be part of a dynamic team, working with clients from a range of industries
Organised and capable of managing simultaneous tasks across a number of accounts
Dedicated to producing high-quality work and going the extra mile
Enjoy working with people with a diverse range of backgrounds and opinions
