Transaction Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

Transactions Delivery

  • Manage end to end delivery of transactions; lease renewals, lease re-gears, non-exercise of breaks, break removals/deferrals, acquisitions, surrenders, freehold disposals, sub-lettings etc.
  • Ensuring an integrated approach to service delivery with strategy, sustainability, workplace, estates management and central operations teams
  • Working with JLL network across the region and best in class / alliance partners ensuring consistency in service delivery to the client
  • Preparing timely business case approval documents (Stage Papers) including financial analysis.
  • Provide a single point of contact for Barclays\xe2\x80\x99 Corporate Real Estate Solutions (CRES), Real Estate, CRM and appropriate business stakeholders on projects and align delivery to the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s strategy
  • Updating Transaction information in workflow management tool (Client Hub)
  • Regular and ad hoc reporting both internally and to Barclays stakeholders
  • Ensure consistency in delivery across markets, brokers and TM team
  • Support in driving Flex office options and working with the JLL Flex team to bring solutions to the client
  • Ensure the client\xe2\x80\x99s sustainability targets are reflected in all decision making
Reporting/Processes
  • Support with annual budgeting ensuring accurate and timely reporting, as required
  • Manage your own fees approvals and billing for transactions in accordance with the client\xe2\x80\x99s processes
  • Regular dialogue with the relevant client stakeholders having regard to project deadlines, task complexity and level of stakeholder engagement (Business, Legal, Finance etc.)
  • Support in the production of Mark to Market reports and other ad hoc reporting
  • Maintain the Flex playbook and ensure it reflects current processes and drive improvements and best practice
Portfolio Review / Critical Dates
  • Working with other JLL service lines and the client to deliver on portfolio optimisation opportunities
  • Provide input and expertise to opportunity assessments, strategy forums and workshops as required
  • Work closely with Barclays stakeholders and Global Strategy Team to ensure implementation of agreed real estate strategies.
