What you'll do
You'll develop, implement and successfully deliver the strategy for Transaction Services Product Sales into the targeted Corporates and Institutions (C&I) customer segment. You'll define, evolve and improve sales strategy for all appropriate transaction services products into relevant C&I customers, and drive continuous connectivity with key stakeholders across the bank to ensure the transaction services product needs for the C&I client base are addressed effectively.
You'll also:
Secure new transaction banking business from new and existing C&I customers and introduce innovation through technological advancements to existing customers
Be fully connected to product franchises, actively contributing to new product development, product innovation, new product launches and sales
Lead, coach and develop the team, enabling them to develop to their full potential and deliver the business strategy within the approved risk appetite and framework
Define and agree a risk appetite that is appropriate for the commercial bank strategy and for wider bank appetite
Create an inclusive culture which actively promotes diversity
The skills you'll need
You'll need strong industry knowledge and experience of the transaction banking business, strong knowledge of the cash management product suite, the payments landscape, and be highly digitally focused. Experience in product innovation and new product delivery is preferable.
You'll also need:
A proven track record in an origination leadership role, with evidence of direct accountability for financial targets
Proven people leadership skills and the ability to deliver results through others
Experience in business development to both new and existing clients using a sales management framework
A practical understanding, and application of risk management disciplines
* Strong knowledge of the regulatory agenda in the financial services market, particularly the payments industry
