About the Role:



We are looking for an experienced Transition Manager with a strong background in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance (BFSI) and prior experience working within a Consultancy or Systems Integrator (SI) environment. This role focuses on the successful transition of services from incumbent providers to new delivery teams, ensuring seamless execution, risk mitigation, and client satisfaction.



This is a high-impact role requiring strong project management expertise, stakeholder engagement, and a deep understanding of service transition within the BFSI landscape.




Key Responsibilities:




Develop comprehensive transition plans, including detailed project schedules and resource allocation plans. Coordinate effectively with internal teams, external suppliers, and client stakeholders to ensure successful execution of the transition strategy. Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid disruption. Communicate regularly and transparently with all stakeholders, addressing concerns and providing ongoing updates. Oversee the end-to-end implementation of the transition plan, ensuring all tasks and deliverables are completed as scheduled. Track and report performance against key metrics and timelines. Ensure all transition documentation is maintained and audit-ready. Conduct post-transition reviews to identify lessons learned and drive continuous improvement. Maintain compliance with regulatory standards relevant to the BFSI sector throughout the transition process.



Required Skills & Experience:




Strong experience as a Transition Manager, with a focus on Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance (BFSI) domains. Experience managing supplier transitions in a consultancy or systems integrator (SI) environment. Demonstrated success in leading service migrations and transitions in large, regulated organizations. Expertise in transition planning, risk management, and project governance. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships at all levels. Familiarity with ITIL, service management frameworks, and global delivery models. Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or PRINCE2 Understanding of complex, multi-vendor ecosystems.
