Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Translator/Interpreter between Chinese Mandarin and English to carry out textual translation and consecutive/simultanoues interpreting services during formal conferences and events. The ideal candidate will possess strong bilingual or multilingual capabilities, enabling them to translate spoken and written content accurately and efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring that messages are conveyed clearly, fostering understanding and collaboration across diverse linguistic backgrounds.

Duties

Translate spoken dialogue in real-time during meetings, conferences, or events. Provide written translation of documents, reports, and other materials as required. Ensure accuracy and clarity in translation while maintaining the original tone and context. Assist in cultural mediation to enhance communication between parties from different backgrounds. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information encountered during translation tasks. Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent terminology and style across all translations. Expand clientele and develop potential business partnerships.

Skills

Proficiency in multiple languages, with a strong emphasis on English. At least 3 years of experience in both consecutive and simultanous interpreting Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey messages effectively. Strong typing skills for efficient document preparation and translation tasks. Attention to detail to ensure high-quality translations that are free from errors. Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Candidates with professional certifications are preferred.
