We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining smooth office operations, managing administrative tasks, and providing exceptional support across various departments. Duties
Supporting the transport department with driver communications, ensuring customer and network collections/deliveries are completed within expected timescales
Liaising with fellow network members to resolve delivery queries
Monitoring driver progress to ensure delivery ETAs and information is up to date
Contacting customers to confirm delivery bookings
Maintaining efficient communication between the office and warehouse
Providing required documentation to drivers and completing a debrief process upon their return to the depot
Utilising Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) to prepare documents and reports as required
Supporting team members with administrative needs to ensure operational efficiency.
Ensuring the office environment remains tidy and well-organised at all times.
Experience
Proven office experience or administrative experience is preferred.
Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Good phone etiquette and professional communication abilities.
Experience in a transport/pallet network environment is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate
