Purpose:
Support the transport team with accurate and timely administrative duties, ensuring customer requirements are met efficiently and in line with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide admin support to the transport office
Professionally handle phone and email queries
Accurately log and update transport jobs
Liaise with customers, drivers, and internal teams
Report issues or irregularities to management
Ensure compliance with procedures, policies, and legal requirements
Key Skills & Experience:
Administrative experience, ideally in transport or logistics
Confident user of MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organised, detail-focused, able to prioritise effectively
Team player with a proactive attitude
Knowledge of routing, telematics, or heavy haulage is a plus but not essential
Competencies:
Clear communicator with a strong customer focus
Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Reliable, self-motivated, and adaptable
