This role is an 18-month FTC
Main purpose of Role:
To support the logistics team in the day to day running of the transport office.
Ensuring all drivers have their paperwork / manifests and workload on their tablets.
Dealing with internal and external enquiries.
Scope of the Role:
Retain a good communication to both internal and external customers in a professional manner.
Primary Objectives:
Dispatch drivers runs using BC
Ensure POD Father is correct and up dated for the drivers
Print and prepare paperwork
Resolve basic problems with the driver's tablets
Update vehicle whereabouts
Scan and attach paper PODs to orders
Send load lists to GDC branches
Answer queries from customer service/GDC via phone and email
Print and file paperwork into the relevant place
Updating various spreadsheets as and when required
Run various reports for various departments
Attend meetings as and when required
Resolve invoice queries
Secondary Objectives:
Ensure all paperwork is correct
Support and deliver any continuous improvements
Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
Good written and verbal communication skills
Good Excel knowledge
Good Word knowledge
