We're looking for a

Transport Administrator

to join our energetic, growing team in

Normanton

. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their work and wants to play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of our transport operations.

This is a

full-time, permanent position

working on a

rotating shift pattern

across any 5 days out of 7. Flexibility is essential, as shift allocations may vary depending on business needs.

Shift patterns include:

Nights:

Sunday to Thursday, 22:00 - 06:00

Afternoons:

Sunday to Thursday, 14:00 - 22:00

Days:

Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 14:00

What you'll do on a typical day:

Maintain the daily operations log by collating feedback against plan for use in Plan/Do/Review calls Administer fleet processes including defect reporting, tyre management, and vehicle bookings Prepare and reconcile delivery paperwork, PODs, and manage tachograph administration and reporting Support First Line Managers with accurate and timely driver briefings and debriefings

What you need to succeed at GXO:

Previous experience in a transport or logistics environment is desirable Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal A calm, customer-focused approach with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment
