Transport Administrator

Fortnightly Shift Pattern

Week 1 - Monday 07.00-19.00, Tuesday -Thursday 08.00-16.00, Friday 08.00-13.00

Week 2 - Tuesday - Friday 07.00 - 19.00

We are looking for someone proactive, who can support our transport team in a fast paced and demanding environment. You will achieve this by having excellent communication skills that you will use internally, with transport planners and drivers and externally with customers, collection and delivery points. Your organisational skills and support will ensure daily delivery success with high levels of customer service and legal compliance.

Duties include:



Accurate administration of all consignment instructions Monitor, communicate and report individual consignment delivery performance Support with arranging backloads and collections Support with legal compliance and regular maintenance schedules Work internally and externally, to identify and resolve any delivery issues or service failures Identify areas for continual improvement

Skills required:



Excellent organisation and communication skills Proactive, problem solving and dynamic approach Ability to multi-task, attention to detail and accuracy Good IT skills with the ability to adapt to new systems Team player with a hands-on approach Desire to continually learn and develop new skills and competencies Willingness to go the extra mile for business and customer needs
Job Type: Permanent

Pay: 27,000.00-30,000.00 per year
