We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated

Transport Apprentice

to join our busy Transport team in

Whitchurch

. This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career in logistics and transport operations.



In this role, you'll provide day-to-day support to our

Traffic Desk

, assisting with the smooth coordination of deliveries, collections, and driver schedules. Alongside this, you'll gain valuable insight into all areas of our Transport operation -- including the

Traffic, Planning, European, and Compliance

teams.



This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience, professional development, and the chance to work with experienced mentors who will support your growth within the business.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Traffic Desk with day-to-day transport operations. Assist in planning vehicle routes and managing driver schedules. Communicate with drivers, depots, and customers to ensure efficient transport solutions. Help monitor compliance with transport legislation, driver hours, and vehicle maintenance. Learn about European transport operations. Support general administrative tasks within the transport department. Works closely and effectively together with the Traffic desk team, the Customer Services team and other individuals across the company to ensure that the way of working is in line with Americold's strategy and guidelines.
