Transport Assistant

to keep things ticking over behind the scenes. If you're organised, calm under pressure, and partial to the occasional bacon bap or carrot on a Friday - we'd like to hear from you.

You'll be the right-hand person to our Transport Manager - helping to keep our fleet, schedules, compliance, and paperwork in ship-shape condition. It's a varied role that'll keep you on your toes - but don't worry, there'll be plenty of support, laughs, and cups of tea along the way.

What we're looking for:

A team player with a "let's get it done" attitude Confident on a computer - Outlook and Excel are your friends Great at juggling tasks and keeping cool under pressure Someone who can communicate clearly with drivers, staff, and customers alike A stickler for detail - paperwork and compliance matter in this game Bonus points if you've worked in transport or logistics before

What you'll be doing (the serious bit):

Examples but not limited to:

Assisting with daily transport planning and scheduling Keeping vehicle records, maintenance logs, and compliance in check Helping manage drivers timesheets, hours & tachographs. Communicating with customers and keeping them updated Supporting the Transport Manager with general admin, reporting, and a bit of chaos when the plan hits a pothole"
