Job Description

Staffline is recruiting for a Transport Clerk to join our client's Distribution Centre in Emerald Park, Bristol.
You will be working on a 5 out of 7 day rota hours either 0600-1400 or 1400-2200.You will be working in a busy transport distribution office so transport knowledge is required.
PAYE pay rates for the first 12 weeks are as follows:
Monday to Friday: 12.60 per hour
Saturday & Sunday: 15.73 per hour
After 12 weeks the PAYE pay rates are:
Monday to Friday: 15.68 per hour
Saturday & Sunday: 18.63 per hour
Your Time at Work
Key Responsibilities:

Allocate vehicle and load details to drivers using a daily planner.
Monitor the accuracy and completion of deliveries.
Administer delivery documentation during drivers' debrief.
Handle telephone enquiries from customers, drivers, and internal departments.
Support additional administrative duties as required by the Transport Shift Manager and operations team.

Candidate Requirements:

Confident and capable communicator.
Strong administrative skills.
Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel).
Attention to detail with good time management.
Ability to work under pressure.
Team player, motivated, and eager to grow in a dynamic and diverse environment.
Experience in a transport office.

Desirable but Not Essential:

Familiarity with Microlise.
